Si el otro día aparecía Illadelph halflife en el ranking hoy es el turno de para mí la magnum opus de The Roots: Thigs fall apart. Tiene lugar en 1999, durante el momento álgido de los Soulquarians y se aprecia la influencia del colectivo tanto en colaboraciones (Common, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu) como en la música y estilo en general (con producción de J Dilla incluida). Me atrevería a decir que el mejor trabajo de la banda hasta la fecha. Y aquí un tema que me encanta y aparece en este disco.
